The FIBROMAX Rotary Tables demonstrate high precision and sheer power,

which was presented by Weinsberg-based FIBRO GmbH at the EMO in Milan. Up

to 140 tons can be positioned with micrometer accuracy - amazing power and precision.

Loading, positioning and processing heavy-load components for wind turbines,

rolling bearings, construction machinery or the die industry becomes a

cinch. The XXL Rotary Tables allow for positioning of heavy components with an

accuracy of +/-2 seconds of arc. The radial and axial concentricity too, are in the

micrometer range.

The large dimension of the indexing table's high precision rolling bearing allows for

maximum precision even for the bulkiest of components. In contrast to hydrostatic

storage, with FIBROMAX the indexing table is not lifted which prevents heat distortion.

The components can therefore be processed energy efficiently without the

need for any cooling unit. In addition, in case of a power outage the storage function

is fully maintained.

 

Ideal for rotary milling and simultaneous operation

 

FIBROMAX-NC Rotary Tables and Rotary-linear Tables are ideally equipped for

flexible positioning as well as simultaneous rotary and multiple-axis machining of

heavy loads. The large maintenance-free rolling bearing absorbs radial as well as

axial forces. Its free from play twin drives make the heavy-duty rotary tables ideal

for rotary milling and simultaneous operation. Hydraulic table top clamping increases

tangential forces and reduces the load on the gear unit. Moreover, the

rigidity of the entire system provides for an optimum power flow from the indexing

table via the bearing through the roller circulation shoes and from the linear table

into the foundation. Low maintenance and high operational safety ensure a long

service life.

Particularly for large asymmetrical components, the FIBROMAX combination of

rotary tables and rotary-linear tables enable high precision positioning inside and

outside the operational area. Whilst milling large components, the linear displacement

path acts as an extremely rigid additional axis. Whether used as a separate

rotary-linear table at a lateral milling centre or as an integrated rotary table - the

customised setup of FIBROMAX by our qualified FIBRO-Team offers the user

maximum flexibility for loads of up to 140 tons.
